Following feedback received from the stakeholders, we have reviewed the current eligibility rules and noted that some quality projects may not fully fit under the existing criteria. Therefore, the Awards Organising Committee are introducing an additional eligibility rule. This adjustment aims to better reflect different project development stages and to include more potential outstanding projects.

New Eligibility Criteria:

Projects that do not possess an Occupation Permit (OP or Phased OP) within the eligibility period (1 January 2021 to 31 January 2026) may still be considered eligible, provided they were at an active stage during this period. Eligibility should be supported by relevant documentation, including but not limited to feasibility studies, Pre-sale Consent, marketing or community engagement plans, ESG reports, renovation records, or demonstration project materials.

We welcome interested parties to apply, including but not limited to:

1. Housing projects which obtained Pre-sale Consent within the eligibility period but have not yet received an OP;

2. Existing commercial properties that adopted new technologies or innovative management models in property or facility management within the eligibility period;

3. Campaigns conducted within the eligibility period in preparation for a future building project (e.g., branding, marketing, or community engagement);

4. Revitalisation, renovation, or asset enhancement projects for existing buildings that achieved improvements in usability, efficiency, resilience, or sustainability;

5. ESG, green building, wellness, or smart-building initiatives implemented at the portfolio or single-asset level;

6. PropTech or digitalisation projects deployed in real estate operations (e.g., smart building platforms, digital FM solutions, data-driven asset management);

7. Pilot or demonstration projects (including testbeds) led by developers, owners, operators, property managers, or technology providers.

In addition, we are pleased to announce that the early-bird application deadline has been extended to 12:00 noon (HKT), 15 January 2026, with an application fee of HKD 6,800 per category. The regular deadline remains at 12:00 noon (HKT), 31 January 2026, with a fee of HKD 8,000 per category.
